is
a pleasant and
inexpensive way, to visit the Island and Cayes. The two Belize
Water Taxi Terminals are located close to the Swing Bridge in
downtown Belize City is the most convenient location to catch a water
taxi heading to the two popular tourist spots of San Pedro and Caye
Caulker.

in Mexico to San
Pedro
|
Since winter 2009 San Pedro in Belize,
has a fast
water taxi connection to Chetumal in Mexico and a other line is in
planning.
|
San Pedro Belize Express offers weekend
runs from Chetumal in Mexico to San Pedro and vice versa. The water
taxi will depart from the “Muelle Fiscal” the Customs Dock in
Chetumal and from the Amigos del Mar dock in San Pedro.
|

| The only disadvantage the
bureaucracy, when we left San Pedro the Immigration officer was 30
minutes late, and when we left Chetumal, we had to wait another half an
hour for the Belize Customs Patrol in the Lagoon near Corozal. |
