Belize Project
We are a group of
volunteers from many different fields. Under the
medical leadership of Dr. Daniel Benjamin Gonzales and the
organi- zation of Dr. Tina Kokkinis, individuals, companies and
organizations facilitate the realization of this project. This year we
will continue to offer affordable medical aid including examinations,
surgeries, wound care and house visits.

Belize Red Cross
Most of the activities undertaken by the Belize Red Cross can be
divided into two groups. Firstly there are the ones which are about
health and commu- nity care which include an HIV and AIDS .
The second group of activities are about disaster management and
include coordination with the Govern- ment’s National Emergency
Management Organisation, Vulnera- bility and Capacity Assessment (VCA)
projects and relief to victims of fires, floods and other natural
disasters.

Gift of Live Belize
Gift of Life Belize
is a project devoted to providing life-saving heart surgery for
children. It
was developed in the 1970’s by members of the Rotary Club of Belize. Gift of Life chapters worldwide are united through
Gift of Life International.

HIV-Projekt Belize e.V.
The main aim of
this project is to fight successful
against HIV epidemic in close connection with the Belizean Government,
with the National AIDS Commission and with Non Government Organisations
to control the epidemic and especially to improve the prevention.

Teachers for a Better Belize is a
partner- ship of educators from North America and Belize who volunteer
their time to improve the training of teachers and the education of
children in the rural Toledo district of Belize

The Saga Society
The Saga Society is a non-profit animal organization in San Pedro,
Ambergris Caye. The primary mission of the Saga Society is to control
and monitor the cat and dog populations on Ambergris Caye, and to
educate, through example, other underdeveloped areas by sharing our
expertise and information. Our aim is to prevent cruelty and to promote
kindness to all domestic and wild animals.
